WHITESTOWN - The New York State Department of Transportation has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss the proposed paving project for State Routes 5A and 69 in the town of Whitestown, Oneida County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20, at 7 p.m. in the library of the Parkway School, located at 65 Oriskany Boulevard, Whitesboro, New York. Department engineers will be available at 6:30 p.m. for participants who may have questions prior to the start of the formal public information meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public, local businesses and elected officials with information regarding the proposed project and to give everyone an opportunity to review and comment on the department’s proposed design plans. The project includes paving on SR 5A, Commercial Drive, starting at Henderson Street and ending at SR 69, including all ramps and SR 69 from Clinton Street to Monument Road. The project will restore the condition of the pavement, improve traffic signals, replace sign panels and provide sidewalks where needed. For further information and/or submission of written comments regarding this project, please contact Steve Zywiak, Regional Design Engineer at 207 Genesee Street, Utica, NY or call (315) 793-2429. |
