CENTER MORICHES – Suffolk County Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday at a Hudson City Savings Bank branch in Center Moriches.

A man entered the bank at 248 Main Street just before 10 a.m., approached a teller with a note demanding money and threatening violence if she did not comply. The teller gave the robber cash and the suspect fled, last seen on a bicycle.

The robber is described as a white man, in his late 20s or early 30s, about six feet to six feet, three inches call, with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a blue windbreaker, gray cargo shorts and sneakers.
