Man found dead in burning vehicle
HOLTVILLE – Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a burning vehicle on Friday morning.
Suffolk County Police were called to a reported vehicle fire on Woodland Avenue in Holtsville and found a Chevrolet TrailBlazer on fire and a man dead in the front seat.
A leaking propane tank was also found in the vehicle.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to call the homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
