Oswego County Sheriff’s Office daily report

On 8/13/08 at 5:09 a.m., Jean M. Newman, 30, of 843 Middle Rd., Oswego, NY was operating a 1998 Saturn on Creamery Rd. 1/10 of a mile south of Middle Rd. in the Town of Scriba, when the vehicle reportedly left the road, struck a tree then a utility pole and was later found at her residence due to the fluids leaking from the vehicle.  Ms. Newman was ticketed for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident; No Inspection Certificate; Driving to the Left of a Curve and Using a Cell Phone While Operating a Motor Vehicle. 

On 8/14/08 at 1:14 a.m., Ronald G. Holmes, 39, of 206 Dunham Rd., Hannibal, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor resulting from an incident that reportedly occurred at a Town of Hannibal residence in which he verbally and physically abused two individuals in the presence of a child less than 17 years of age.  Mr. Holmes was taken to the Oswego County Correctional Facility for processing and then released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 8/19/08.
