North Carolina man charged with sexual abuse

STOCKTON – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has charged a North Carolina man with sexual abuse in the second degree.

Christopher Davis, 23, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in Stockton.

Deputies responded to a call of a 13-year-old girl who had been sexually abused at a residence on Route 60 in Stockton. He was alleged to have committed the crime at that location.

Davis was located a short time later walking on Bachellor Hill Road where he was taken into custody without incident.

He was remanded to the County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond.
