MEDFORD – Suffolk County Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a Medford teen and left another man in critical conduction Monday night.

Brett Brown, 46, of West Patchogue, was driving on Woodside Avenue in Medford when he was struck head-on by another car.

The other vehicle, occupied by Christopher Vogel, 20, and Christopher Luongo, 17, of both of Medford, broke into two pieces, ejecting both of them.

Police believe Vogel was driving the car.

Luongo was pronounced dead at the scene. Vogel was in critical condition, police said.
