HAUPPAUGE – Suffolk County Police have arrested a Rahway, NJ woman on prostitution charges after she arranged to have sex for a fee on the web site Craig’s List.

When police learned that a prostitute had set up shop at the Sheraton Hotel in Hauppauge and was procuring her Johns by making her appointments via the Craig’s List web site, they set up a surveillance of the hotel.

When officers took action, they found Rachel Stack, 25, entertaining her client, George Karapistolis, 32, of Smithtown.

Stack was charged with prostitution and Karapistolis was charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Both were issued appearance tickets.
