Murder charge lodged against Long Island men
MEDFORD – Suffolk County Police have arrested two men for the murder of Thomas Garafolo, who was stabbed to death in his Medford home on June 22.
Suffolk County Police arrested Joshua Lopez, 27, of coram and Frederick Hollman, 20, of Ronkonoma on June 25. They were charged with second-degree murder.
On the morning of June 22, Garafolo had knocked on the door of a Medford home and asked for help. He collapsed at the door, having been stabbed several times.
He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
