Two arrested in home where woman was kidnapped

EAST PATCHOGUE – Suffolk County Police have arrested two men in an East Patchogue home after a woman claimed she was taken by one of them against her will.

Police were assisting the US Marshals’ Service in the arrest of a man wanted on a felony drug warrant when they arrived at 740 Scherger Avenue in East Patchogue late Friday morning. They heard a woman screaming for help and when they entered the home, they found a woman who said she was taken from her home against her will and beaten by an ex-boyfriend.

Keston Forde, 27, of 1110 Bay Shore Avenue in Bay Shore, the woman’s ex-boyfriend, was the man wanted by the Marshals Service.

Police charged Forde with burglary in the first degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.

He was also served with the felony drug warrant by the federal authorities.

Another man in the home, Delvin Howitt, 35, of Bellport, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree and resisting arrest.
