Oswego County Sheriff’s Office

On 5/17/08 at 5:57 p.m., Katelyn A. Woods, 22, of 1031 CR 29N, Oswego, NY was operating a 1996 Buick on SR 48 in the Town of Minetto when she reportedly was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Community Drive and was rear ended by a 1994 Pontiac operated by Samantha J. Lewis, 29, of 520 Rathburn Rd., Fulton, NY.  Ms. Lewis was ticketed for Operating Without Insurance; Unregistered Motor Vehicle; Improper Plates and Drove to Left on Crest/Curve.  Following too closely seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 5/17/08, Angel Cabera, 30, of 268 Bray Rd., Fulton, NY was arrested at 1:55 a.m. for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 3rd degree and Speed in Zone after a traffic stop on SR 48 in the Town of Minetto.  Mr. Cabera was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Minetto Town Court on 5/29/08.

On 5/18/08, Bobbie J. Wilbur, 27, of PO Box 1732, Auburn, NY was arrested at 1:52 a.m. for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 3rd degree (failure to answer summons in T/O Elbridge) and Sub-standard Lights after a traffic stop on SR 48 near Wilber Dr., in the Town of Granby.  Ms. Wilbur was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 6/2/08.

On 5/21/08 at 9:52 a.m., Robert J. Fitzgibbons Jr., 51, of 1621 CR 41, Pulaski, NY was arrested based on a Family Court Warrant issued by the Hon. James Metcalf charging him with violating Article IV of the Family Court Act (failure to pay support).  Mr. Fitzgibbons was arraigned before Hon. Judge Metcalf and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2500.00 cash or $5000.00 bail bond.  He is scheduled to appear before Oswego County Family Court on 5/23/08.

On 5/21/08, Stephen M. Gudknecht, 27, of 412 CR 10 Apt. # B-6, Pennellville, NY was arrested at 4:08 p.m. based on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Schroeppel Court charging him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 2nd degree; Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Failure to Keep Right.  Mr. Gudknecht was arraigned in the Town of Hastings Court and ROR’d, scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court on 6/4/08.

On 5/21/08, Megan D. Wagner, 21, of 96 Jonney Cake Ln., Fulton, NY was arrested at 11:00 p.m. for Aggravated Harassment , 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor after the investigation into a complaint where she allegedly made contact numerously by text and phone to an individual after she was requested not to do so.  Ms. Wagner was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the T/O Granby Court on 6/9/08.

On 5/21/08 at 12:50 a.m., Kevin M. Louis, 28, of 7 Locust St. Apt # Rear, Rochester, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 3rd degree (failure to answer summons in Monroe County) and Speeding (excess of 55 mph) after a traffic stop on CR 7 just north of SR 3 in the Town of Hannibal.  Mr. Louis was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 6/10/08.

On 5/21/08 at 8:05 a.m., Christopher R. Akkoul, 17, of 15 Akkoul Dr., Pulaski, NY was operating a 1994 Ford pick-up west bound on Salisbury St. in the Village of Sandy Creek when the vehicle reportedly turned left heading south bound on Powers Ave. and struck a pole.  A passenger in Mr. Akkoul’s vehicle, Aaron Russell, 15, was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Unsafe speed and a defective accelerator seem to have been contributing factors.  Mr. Akkoul was ticketed for Speed Not Reasonable.
