On 5/06/08 at 9:15 a.m., Jason R. Garelick, 26, of 251 Willey, Bridgeport, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree, and Speed In Zone, following a traffic stop after he was observed driving at a speed over the posted limit while traveling eastbound on SR 49 in the Village of Cleveland. Mr. Garelick was released to a third party on tickets returnable to Town of Constantia Court on 5/21/08. On 5/08/08 at 6:59 p.m., Amber L. Uzamko, 23, of 956 Middle Road, Lot 25A, Oswego, NY, was ticketed for Operation While Registration Suspended (insurance lapse), following a traffic stop after a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle as she drove westbound on SR 104 in the City of Oswego. Mr. Uzamko is scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego City Court on 6/05/08. On 5/08/08 at 8:40 p.m., a traffic stop on SR 176 in the Town of Hannibal led to the arrest of Lucas J. Lunkenheimer, 24, of 3540 Terpening Road, Hannibal, NY, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (13 scoffs on four different dates); Operation Without Insurance; and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. He is scheduled to appear before Town of Hannibal on 5/13/08 to answer the charges. On 5/08/08 at 9:00 p.m., Mark B. Clifford, 20, of 212 Cole Road, Mexico, NY, was charged with Speed in Zone and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, following a traffic stop on CR 10 in the Town of Schoeppel. The investigation found a small quantity of marijuana and a glass pipe containing marijuana residue on his person and in his vehicle. Mr. Clifford was released and is scheduled to appear before Town of Schroeppel Court on 5/28/08. On 5/09/08, Mark Manning, 62, of 7403 SR 3, Pulaski, NY, was operating a 2002 Dodge pickup truck eastbound on CR 4 at 7:38 a.m., attempting to turn north into the cemetery 1/10 of a mile east of Paddy Lake Road, when an eastbound 1998 Dodge driven by Randi L. LeBeau, 20, of 3361 CR 176, Oswego, NY, attempted to pass and reported struck Mr. Manning’s truck. Unsafe speed and unsafe passing appear to have been contributing factors in the incident. Ms. LeBeau was ticketed for Drove to Left in No Passing Zone. On 5/10/08 at 6:53 p.m., Martin G. Cowles, 45, of 629 CR 35, Fulton, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on CR 4 in the Town of Palermo after he was reportedly observed failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of CR 4 and CR 35. Further investigation found two pipes containing marijuana residue and an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Also revealed was an outstanding Fugitive of Justice warrant out of Volusia County, Florida, charging him with Vehicular Manslaughter. Mr. Cowles was subsequently arrested for being a Fugitive of Justice and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Failed to Stop at a Stop Sign, and Consumption of Alcohol Beverages in Certain Vehicles. He was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to return to court on 6/19/08. On 5/10/08 at 4:00 p.m., Jerimiah R. Tarbell, 22, of White Birches Drive, Sandy Creek, NY, was served with a Criminal Summons issued by the Hon. Terry Crast, Town of Sandy Creek Court, charging him with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation. He is scheduled to appear before Town of Sandy Creek Court on 5/15/08 to answer the charge, which stems from an incident that occurred at Mr. Tarbell’s residence on 2/12/08 during which Mr. Tarbell allegedly grabbed a male guest by the neck and pushed him. On 5/11/08 at 1:00 p.m., Raymond L. Besaw, 36, of 379 SR 49, Fulton, NY, was arrested for violating Corrections Law by failing to register a new address within 10 days under the Sex Offender Registry. Mr. Besaw was arraigned before the Hon. Bruce Wells, Town of Granby Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 6/02/08. On 5/11/08, Cynthia J. Leotta, 48, of 5 McHarrie St., Apt. 5, Baldwinsville, NY, was driving eastbound on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba at approximately 5:40 p.m. when a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle as she passed a patrol unit. Following a traffic stop investigation, Ms. Leotta was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; Operation While Registration Suspended; Operation Without Insurance; and Failure to Produce an Insurance Identification Card. Ms. Leotta was ticketed and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 5/29/08. She was also issued a receipt for her license plates and her vehicle was towed from the scene. |
