Albany man pleads guilty to sexual conduct a with minor

ALBANY - Daniel Roach, 18, of Albany, NY, pled guilty to one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class “e” felony, and one count of criminal sexual act in the second degree, a class “d” felony.  Roach faces 4 years in prison and 10 years post release supervision when sentenced in July.

 Between September 2007 and January 2008, Roach forwarded email images of boys involved in sexual conduct and was in possession of numerous images containing obscene performances by boys less than 16 years old. The New York State Police were notified of the images sent by Roach by his internet provider, AOL. During the investigation, Police learned that on February 10, 2008, Roach engaged in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old child.
