On 4/25/08, Heather M. Lyboult, 32, of 77 SR 48, Lot 63, Phoenix, NY, was arrested at 9:34 a.m. for Falsely Reporting an Incident, Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor.  The arrest was the result of an investigation that concluded Ms. Lyboult was not attacked in her home as reported by her on 4/23/08.  Released on an appearance ticket, Ms. Lyboult is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Granby Court on 5/08/08.

On 4/25/08, Namel K. Cooper, 30, of 1843 CR 6, Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (six scoffs on two dates), and Failed to Stop at a Stop Sign following a traffic stop after he was observed driving through the intersection at CR 85 and Ridge Road.  Mr. Cooper was released on tickets returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 5/06/08.

On 4/24/08 at 7:02 p.m., Jason R. Skellington, 25, of 49 Kasoag Lake Road, Altmar, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, after he was accused of striking a nine year old in the head with his hand.  The incident occurred during a conversation with Mr. Skellington after the victim reportedly repeated a vulgarity that Mr. Skellington had just used.  Mr. Skellington was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Williamstown Court on 5/06/08.

On 4/25/08 at 6:35 p.m., William L. Widger, 54, of 1012 CR 57, Phoenix, NY, was arrested for Menacing, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the yard of his residence during he which he allegedly threw a gas container, then a long-handled axe toward a victim from about 20 feet away, not quite reaching the victim.  Mr. Widger was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Schroeppel Court on 4/30/08.

On 4/26/08 at 1:45 a.m., George A. Sweeting, III, 18, of 285 W. Eighth St., Oswego, NY, a 17 year old male residing in the Town of Scriba, and a 16 year old female residing in the City of Oswego, and were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Person Less Than the Age of 21, stemming from the investigation into an underage drinking party that took place at the end of Garden Drive in the Town of Scriba.  The trio was released to a parent who also removed their vehicles.  They are scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 5/08/08.

On 4/26/08 at 2:04 a.m., Matthew J. Losurdo, 19, of 2081 CR 1, Oswego, NY, was observed driving with a loud muffler while on the Oneida Street Bridge in the City of Fulton.  Following a traffic stop he was charged with Inadequate Muffler; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (two scoffs on two dates:  Failure to Answer in Lewis County and Failure to Answer in the City of Oswego); Consumption of Alcohol Beverages in Certain Vehicles; Failure to Notify Commissioner of Change of Address; and No Inspection Certificate.  Mr. Losurdo was released on $60 bail and is scheduled to answer the charge before Fulton City Court on 6/01/08.
On 4/26/08 at 4:14 a.m., Lee E. VanPatten, 21, of 77 CR 24, Minetto, NY, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, after he was found sitting in the driveway of a residence in the Town of Minetto.  Further investigation found Mr. VanPatten to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.  He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge before Town of Minetto Court on 5/08/08.

On 4/26/08 at 12:10 p.m., Joseph P. Allen, 30, of 8 Cochran Street, Oswego, NY, was arrested based on a bench warrant issued by Town of Granby Court charging him with Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Allen was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to appear before Town of Granby Court on 5/05/08.

On 4/27/08 at 4:10 p.m., Brian R. Hazen, 25, of 14 Larkin Rd., New Haven, NY, was charged with violating a local emergency order banning open burning, a class B misdemeanor.  Mr. Hazen was reportedly burning trash in his backyard approximately 30-40 feet from his residence.  Issued an appearance ticket Mr. Hazen is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of New Haven Court on 5/05/08.

On 4/28/08, a 14 year old male residing in Baldwinsville, NY, was charged with Juvenile Delinquency for acts, which if committed by an adult, would have constituted the crimes of Conspiracy, Fifth Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Grand Larceny, Third Degree, a class D felony; and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a class D felony, after being accused of stealing a truck from the driveway of a Town of Schroeppel residence on 4/27/08 at approximately 10:50 p.m.  The youth was released to his parent and both issued a Juvenile Appearance Ticket with instructions to contact the Oswego County Probation Department for further processing.  The youth was apprehended following an investigation conducted by a member of the New York State who was responding to another stolen vehicle complaint that took place from a different Town of Schroeppel residence at approximately 2:02 a.m.  Both stolen vehicles were found traveling eastbound on SR 49, stopped, and the two suspects taken into custody, one by the New York State Police, one by a member of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
