On 3/19/08, Robert A. Boyd, 22, of 272 CR 51A, Oswego, NY, was arrested for two counts of Menacing, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Fourth Degree, a class A  misdemeanor; and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended due to failure to answer a summons in Town of Scriba Court on 11/16/07), stemming from an incident that occurred after a vehicle pulled out of a driveway onto to CR 35 in front of him.  Mr. Boyd allegedly passed that vehicle at a high rate of speed.  The driver of the vehicle that pulled out, followed Mr. Boyd to Red’s gas station in Palermo where he attempted to confront Mr. Boyd.  Allegedly, Mr. Boyd was sitting in his vehicle with a knife on his lap, which caused the man to retreat, with Mr. Boyd threatening to return to the victim’s house with a 9 mm gun.  Moments later, Mr. Boyd was observed pulling up to the residence next door to the victim’s house where he exited his vehicle, and pointed a rifle toward the neighbor’s house.  He reportedly retreated when he saw the neighbor at his truck in the driveway.  He was subsequently located and taken into custody at 3:12 p.m., following an investigation that began at 12:30 p.m.  Mr. Boyd was arraigned before the Hon. Robert Wood, Town of Palermo Court, on all charges and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to return to court on 3/31/08.

On 3/19/08 at 2:05 p.m., Molly A. Fleming, 19, of 393 CR 35, Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended junior operator’s license), after she was allegedly driving on Craw Road in the Town of Palermo.  Ms. Fleming was released on a ticket returnable to Town of Palermo Court on 4/14/08.

On 3/21/08, Andre L. Baker, 27, of 90 Ellison St., Apt. F, Rochester, NY, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. based on a bench warrant issued by the Hon. John Elliott, Oswego County Court, charging him with Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony.  Mr. Baker was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility to await a court appearance in Oswego County Court scheduled for 3/24/08.

On 3/21/08 at 7:07 p.m., Joshua D. Johnson, 21, of 853 Silk Road, Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended 11/28/07, City of Syracuse, for failure to answer a summon), and Speed Over the State Speed Limit following a traffic stop after he was observed driving on CR 6 in the Town of Volney.  Released on tickets to a third party, Mr. Johnson is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Volney Court on 4/07/08.

On 3/21/08, Jonathan P. Miller, 17, of 923 CR 7, Hannibal, NY, was operating a 1987 Chevrolet pickup truck in a southeasterly direction on CR 21 in the Town of Hannibal at 7:24 p.m. when he reportedly failed to yield the right of way after stopping at the intersection at CR 21 and collided with a 2002 Ford suburban driven on SR 104 by Steven F. Haupt, 48, of 7 Captavia Crossing, Fairport, NY.  Mr. Miller then left the scene of the incident.  Mr. Miller was later ticketed for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Failure to Yield the Right of Way at a Stop Sign Intersection.

On 3/22/08, Darren A. Bretscher, 41, of 9594 Dunbar Rd., Camden, NY, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated; Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (three suspensions on two dates); and Failed to Use Designated Lane, stemming from the investigation into a property damage accident that occurred on SR 49 in the Town of West Monroe.  Mr. Bretscher was reportedly found walking up CR 11, having left the scene of the accident where his Honda vehicle was observed in a ditch on the south side of the roadway approximately 1,000 feet west of CR 11.  Mr. Bretscher was released on tickets returnable to Town of West Monroe Court on 4/21/08.

On 3/22/08 at 5:20 p.m., Hannibal Vecchio, 22, and David C. Campbell, 31, both of 442 Oneida River Road, Lot 6, Pennellville, NY, were each arrested for Assault, Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after they were accused of causing physical injury to another male by kicking the victim numerous times during an argument that took place at the victim’s Pennellville residence.  Both Mr. Vecchio and Campbell were released on appearance tickets and will answer the charges before Town of Schroeppel Court on 4/01/08.

On 3/23/08, Aaron L. Richardson, 27, of 17 Carter Road, Hannibal, NY, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. following a traffic stop on CR 29 in the Town of Scriba after he was observed southbound crossing over the centerline.  Reportedly found under the influence of alcohol, Mr. Richardson was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol and Failure to Keep Right.  He was issued tickets, released to a third party, and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 4/03/08.
