Albany man pleads guilty to weapons possession

File may take time to start streaming on slower Internet connections

ALBANY - United States Attorney Glenn Suddaby announced that Antoine Fort, 20, of Albany pled guilty in United States District Court in Albany to being a previously convicted felon in possession of firearms.

In his plea agreement, Fort admitted that on December 6, 2006, he possessed both a Winchester Model 1300 shotgun and a High Point Model 09, 9mm Luger, following a conviction in 2006 of a Class D felony.

At sentencing in July he faces up to 10 years in prison.
