ORCHARD PARK – The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Clarence man for burglarizing a Town of Clarence business.

Brett Vogel, 22, was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, possession of burglary tools and attempted petit larceny.

Vogel was spotted by the store owner’s wife inside Old County Barn after visiting hours. He fled the scene but was caught by the store owner and his son some distance from the business.

Vogel was hiding in the back of a dump truck at a nursery on Transit Road and was turned over to deputies.
