File may take time to start streaming on slower Internet connections

OSWEGO - The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, in cooperation with the United Way of Greater Oswego County, has recently completed the 2008 Community Services Directory.

The updated directory lists the county’s human services agencies, and contains information on health care, recreation, support groups, senior citizens, education, employment and other topics.

“The United Way is proud to partner with the Youth Bureau in developing such a worthwhile community resource,” said Melanie Trexler, executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

According to Youth Bureau Director Kathleen Fenlon, “the Community Services Directory is a resource guide that is widely used by local schools and service providers.”

The directory is listed on both Oswego County’s Web site at www.oswegocounty.com and the United Way’s Web site at www.oswegounitedway.org

The directory is also available from the Youth Bureau in a CD format, with a limited number of paper copies available. For more information contact the Youth Bureau at 349-3451 or 1-800-596-3200, ext. 3451.
