Schenectady man indicted for attempted murder |

SCHENECTADY – A 19-year-old Schenectady man has been indicted by a Schenectady County grand jury on a number of charges including reckless endangerment and attempted murder. It is alleged that on December 20, 2007, Khalan Pendelton of 235 McClellan Street, Schenectady, tried to steal property from another person in the vicinity of 236 McClellan Street while armed with a semi-automatic pistol. Pendelton was indicted on charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, attempted murder in the second degree, three counts of assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, four counts of attempted robbery in the first degree, criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal sale of marijuana in the fourth degree and unlawful possession of marijuana. |
