BAY SHORE – The Suffolk County Police Department has arrested three men in connection with the robbery of a man and woman from Queens that occurred at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, in Bay Shore.

Police said Jessica Lorincz and Joseph Taranowksi, both of Queens Village, arrived at the Deer Park railroad station with the intention of visiting Lorincz’s boyfriend, and became lost.

The pair was accosted at the intersection of Joelson Avenue and Sonia road in Bay Shore, by three robberies.

Later that night, police spotted a car matching the description of the getaway car in Brentwood.

Police stopped it and charged the occupants. Arrested for first-degree robbery were David Rudio, 17, of Bay Shore, Robert Peruggi, 17, and Obed Zabaleta, 16, both of Brentwood.
