Weedsport - Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould said Thursday that the body found under the Rt. 31 bridge in Weedsport on Monday, January 7 has been positively identified as that of James George, who went missing from his home on December 23rd.

An autopsy was performed by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner and there were no signs of foul play and no signs of trauma.  Cause of death is pending the outcome of toxicology, the results of which won’t be known for several months.
