On 12/16/07, Dennis C. Roser, 49, of 892 CR 30, Altmar, NY, was operating a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck, backing out of a driveway onto SR 183 in the Town of Amboy at 9:04 a.m. when he collided with a 2005 Chevrolet being driven northbound on SR 183 by James W. Kennedy, Jr., 65, of PO Box 219, Williamstown, NY. The incident occurred ½ mile south of Nicholes Road as Mr. Roser was reportedly plowing snow. Mr. Roser was ticketed for Unsafe Backing. On 12/17/07, D.H. Bernett-Parker, 24, of PO Box 154, New Haven, NY, was operating a 1996 Subaru westbound on SR 104B in the Town of New Haven at 10:11 p.m. when he reportedly lost control east of SR 3, crossed the center lane, and collided with an eastbound 2006 GMC suburban driven by Chuck W. Foultz, 71, of 164 Hager Drive, Pulaski, NY. Mr. Bernett-Parker was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse. Mr. Foultz was transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital. Slippery pavement appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident with roads reportedly covered with snow and ice. On 12/19/07, Stacy L. Marvin, 38, of 625 10th St., Fair Haven, NY, was arrested at 8:10 a.m. for Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. She is accused of taking a wallet from another person at a Town of Oswego location on 11/27/07, which contents included two debit cards and a credit card. The wallet had been inside a purse that was left unattended by the victim. Ms. Marvin was released on two appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Oswego Court on 1/07/08. On 12/20/07, William R. Lamson, 39, of 1908 Cotswold Court, Liverpool, NY, was observed hitchhiking while walking along US Route 11 in the Town of Hastings at approximately 12:20 a.m. During the investigation Mr. Lamson falsely identified himself and was subsequently arrested for Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Lamson was issued an appearance ticket to answer the Criminal Impersonation charge before Town of Hastings Court on 1/02/08. Further investigation found an outstanding warrant issued by Oswego County Court charging him with Parole Violation, for which he was arrested and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail pending an appearance before Oswego County Court at a later date. |
