File may take time to start streaming on slower Internet connections

Members of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested a state employee on charges of grand larceny in the second degree and falsifying business records in the first degree.

Karen Bradley 42, of Schenectady, NY, while serving as treasurer of the New York State Training Council, between 1999 and September of 2006, is alleged to have embezzled in excess of $50,000 from the Training Council bank accounts.

It is also alleged that during that time period she repeatedly filed false financial reports with the Training Council executive committee to hide the embezzlement.

Bradley was arraigned in Albany City Court and was released on her own recognizance.

The New York State Training Council is a non-profit organization made up of New York State government human resources professionals whose mission is to advocate and support training within the State workforce. Bradley served in the part time non-paying position of treasurer for the Training Council and is employed full time by The New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations.
