Chautauqua County Court activity announced |

District Attorney, David Foley, announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court. Tonya Bowles, 19, of 11 1/2 Bowen St., Jamestown, NY, was sentenced to 1 year in jail for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 5th degree. Montel Cooper, 20, of 88 Maple Ave., Dunkirk, NY, was sentenced to 1 year in jail for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 4th degree. Joseph Culmo, 19, of 166 Newton St., Fredonia, NY, was sentenced to 3 years probation for grand larceny in the 4th degree. Edwin Ernst, 46, of 38 Robinson St., Silver Creek, NY, was sentenced to a $2,000.00 fine, 5 years probation and 1 year driver's license revocation for felony DWI. Jason Groves, 19, of 12012 Dole St., Dayton, NY, was sentenced to 3 years probation for attempted tampering with a witness 3rd and unlawfully dealing with a child in the 1st degree. Carlos Marrero-Ortiz, 38, of 311 Lors St., Dunkirk, NY, was sentenced to 4 months in jail and 5 years probation for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 4th degree. Robert E. Pratt, 52, of 43 State St., Ripley, NY, was sentenced to 1-3 years in prison for felony DWI. Waldek Salome, 30, of 22 Lucas Ave., Dunkirk, NY, was sentenced to 3 years probation for endangering the welfare of a child. Jerome Sellers, 23, of 43 Doughty St., #2, Dunkirk, NY, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison with 3 years post release supervision for attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree. Michael Stephany, 21, of 10579 W. Perrysburg Rd., NY, was sentenced to time served and 5 years probation for burglary in the 3rd degree. |
