Syracuse seeks tree for Clinton Square holiday season |
||
The City of Syracuse is looking for the Christmas tree that will be displayed in Clinton Square during the upcoming holiday season. The Tree will be featured as the main attraction in the City’s “Holiday Magic in the Square Celebration” tree lighting event, which will take place on Friday, November 24, 2006 at Clinton Square, starting at 7 p.m. The tree must be a Norway Spruce and be approximately 65 feet tall. In order to facilitate removal of the tree, it must be located away from power lines and located near a main access road (i.e. not in the back yard). If you have a tree that you would like to submit for consideration, please contact Sue DePalma at the City of Syracuse Department of Parks Recreation and Youth Programs, 473-4330, ext. 3020. |
