Luminary Media announces the new edition of the Dutchess Tourism Travel Guide on stands now. This year’s guide features an enhanced look and feel, annual events, historic sites, arts and cultural attractions, restaurant listings, travel information, and much more.
“Whether planning a one-day getaway or a longer vacation, we’re here to do everything we can to make it easy to plan and hard to forget,” said Mary Kay Vrba, director of Dutchess Tourism Inc. “By using this travel planner you can map out your journey in advance, find lodging that suits your taste and budget, and check the hours for area attractions. Dutchess is easily accessible by car, train, bus and boat, from New York’s metro area and Capital district, as well as eastern Pennsylvania and western New England. Planning ahead means more time for sightseeing, and a more relaxing stay.”
This year’s Guide features a re-design with increased usability while maintaining the high standard of informational resources visitors to the area need. The cover of the 2016 Dutchess Tourism Travel Guide is a captivating image of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Hyde Park, NY home. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum as well as the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
“We’ve been working with Dutchess Tourism on this publication for more than five years now,” adds Brian K. Mahoney, editorial director of Luminary Media. “The Guide has always informed and delighted potential visitors to Dutchess County and served as a powerful attractor to the region as a whole.”
