The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) today named Josette Valenti as Vice President of Human Resources. She will oversee all of the NYISO’s employee recruitment and hiring efforts, and manage the team responsible for employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and development.
“Josette will be an excellent addition to the NYISO’s senior leadership team. She is a knowledgeable professional with extensive experience in managing the human resource needs of technology-based companies,” said NYISO President & CEO Brad Jones.
Prior to joining the NYISO, Ms. Valenti had served as Vice President of Human Resources for Autotask Corporation since 2011. From 2001-2011, she was Director of Human Resources for Pitney Bowes Inc.’s Business Insight Division (formerly MapInfo Corporation). She held positions of increasing responsibility in human resources with the Business Insight Division from 1995 -2001.
Ms. Valenti earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in Human Resources and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Management Information Systems from SUNY Albany.
